  • Researching air quality in various indoor spaces such as new apartment buildings and multi-use facilities
  • Engaging in proactive research to reduce exposure to noise, light pollution, etc., in everyday life
  • Establishing a foundation for characterization and managementof harmful factors in the living environment such as radon, asbestos, and microorganisms
  • Expanding the monitoring of trace hazardous substances in tap water and performing research on safety management
  • Researching the advancement of sewage treatment standards for water quality and water quality management
  • Researching the management basis and response for hazardous microorganisms in water environments
  • Improving the quality of environmental test results and ensuring compliance with international standards (ISO17025 & 17043)
  • Establishing and revising national (KS) and international (ISO) environmental and pollution process test standards
  • Exploring methods to trace environmental pollutants using stable isotopes
  • Establishing a foundation for advanced soil and groundwater standards and vitalizing risk assessment
  • Studying ways to manage contaminated soil and groundwater areas
  • Verifying, evaluating, and analyzing operation results such as soil and groundwater information systemsand measurement network
