- Researching environmental friendliness and performance assessment of electric and other zero-emission vehicles
- Managing transportation emissions and GHGs (LCA, life cycle assessment, etc.)
- Performing emission gas control logic assessment and verifying and analyzing the effects of implementing a testing method on actual roads
- Providing policy support for implementing emission gas management systems in the non-road sector
- Responding to international standards for measuring automobile emissions
- Engaging in control of automotive fuel, additive and catalyst quality, improving systems and managing fuel source contaminants
